Artisan Joy Leadership Team

Stephanie Blanchard, Founder, President, Editorial & Executive Director

Stephanie has been a writer and editor for over 20 years. She started Artisan Joy in 2021 because creative entrepreneurs inspire her, and she wanted to help them tell their stories. In 2024, Stephanie transitioned Artisan Joy from a for-profit business to a non-profit media company. Stephanie believes that Artisan Joy’s role in the media is to champion the creative economy by bringing awareness to the work of artists, designers, makers, artisans and others who sell their creative goods/services.

Stephanie also runs B. Savvy Creative, where she provides copywriting and editing services to businesses.

She received a BA in Professional Writing from Penn State and an MA in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurial Journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
